Finance Associate

MedTrans Go’s platform acts as a digital marketplace that matches healthcare facilities (“customers”) with businesses and individuals providing medical transportation, interpretation, home health care, and prescription delivery services (“service partners”).  The Finance Associate will be working directly with our CEO and COO to assist with financial organization and  analysis for the company.

Responsibilities

​

  • Assisting with the preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports.

  • Managing account records, issuing invoices, and handling payments.

  • Analyzing financial data and assisting with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.

  • Updating financial spreadsheets and reports with the latest available data.

  • Keeping records and documenting financial processes.

  • Assisting with financial forecasting efforts to project revenue and expenses.

  • Collaborating with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies.

  • Advising other departments on best practices related to fiscal procedures.

  • Working with the technology team to develop in-app dashboards and reports.

  • Reviewing existing financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Preparation and reporting prior to and following post-Seed fundraising. 

  • Performing ad-hoc analyses as requested by management.

 

 

Qualifications

​

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field.

  • 2+ years work experience in Finance/Accounting.

  • Proficiency in integrated financial management software.

  • Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • The ability to handle competing priorities and multiple objectives.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

MedTrans Go is a HealthTech startup that provides healthcare facilities access to medical transportation, interpretation,  home health care, telemedicine, and delivery services. We work with medical  practices, hospitals, and similar care facilities, as well as legal offices, to eliminate the burden of patient coordination via our online platform, allowing healthcare workers to easily and efficiently schedule services to reduce patient no shows and get patients the care they need.
